The Night Time Tree Walk is a great experience and well worth the $29 per person.
However, if you're looking for a cheaper option the daytime walk through the Redwood Forest is free and also worth the time, either walking or biking. There are tracks for both activities.
The Redwood Forest is located approx. 5 minutes from the centre of Rotorua, on Long Mile Road and has achieved number of awards. This attraction has been developed for all ages and at 700 metres long, it's the only one of a kind in New Zealand.
The walk swings among 117 year old Redwood trees and is 20 metres above the forest ground. The night lights and lamps in trees and on the ground make beautiful displays.
A very popular site to visit.
